A 21-year-old girl has accused South’s famous choreographer Sheikh Jani Basha alias Jani Master of sexual abuse. The victim has lodged a zero FIR against Jani at Cyberabad Raidurgam police station in Telangana. Jani has choreographed many hit songs including the song ‘Aai Nahi’ from the recently released film ‘Stree 2’. He misbehaved with her even after taking her home
The girl alleged that she has worked with Jani on many projects and the choreographer has been exploiting her for the past several months. The victim said that Jani misbehaved with her during the shooting of different projects in Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. He also abused her several times at his home in Hyderabad. After the girl’s complaint, the police have arrested the choreographer. According to The Hindu report, ‘A senior police officer has confirmed this news. He said that the investigation of this case is going on. This matter was first raised by DG Shikha Goyal of Telangana Women Safety Wing (WSW). It was she who suggested the victim to complain to the police. Jani had earlier also gone to jail for six months in 2015 due to a dispute. Jani has also worked with Salman
Apart from ‘Stree 2’, Jani had choreographed Salman Khan’s song in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ and ‘Radhe’. Apart from this, he has also worked in films like the recently released ‘Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’. Apart from Salman, Jani has so far worked with many big celebs including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Vijay, Dhanush and Pawan Kalyan.
