After the release of exit polls for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has expressed happiness that NC and Congress are seen forming the government together. He said that PDP is ready to join us, this is a very good thing. In fact, after the exit polls came out, PDP leader Zuhaib Yusuf Mir said that he is ready to form an alliance with National Conference and Congress to keep BJP out of power. Regarding this statement of the PDP leader, Farooq Abdullah said that congratulations to him. His thinking is good, we are all on the same path. We have to end hatred and keep Jammu and Kashmir together. In the exit polls released on Saturday, NC-Congress government is seen forming. Out of 10 polls, 5 are showing National Conference-Congress forming a coalition government, while in 5 it is seen 10 to 15 seats away from the majority. The party is expected to get 40 seats. Farooq Abdullah had refused to comment on the exit poll on Saturday. He had said that on October 8, all the results will be in front of you, the boxes will open and we will know who stands where, but I definitely know that the Congress-NC alliance will form the government with a majority. PDP candidate from Lal Chowk assembly seat Zuhaib Yusuf Mir had said on Saturday that in our view the exit poll has no meaning, it is just a time pass thing, but we know that our party will be an important part of the secular government to be formed in Jammu and Kashmir. We had said earlier also that we are ready to take any step to save the identity of Kashmir. It is very important that we form a secular government which is against the BJP, not with it. Mehbooba Mufti had said before the election – Our agenda is the same Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti released the party’s manifesto on August 24. During this, on the question of support from Congress and National Conference, she said – the alliance between the two parties is being done on seat sharing, not on the agenda. If both the parties agree to our party’s agenda, then we are ready for the alliance. We have only one agenda – solution to the problem of Jammu and Kashmir.
