In Jind, Haryana, a woman was raped after making an obscene video of her and threatening to make it viral. Police in the women’s police station have registered a zero FIR against four people under various sections. The case has been sent to Delhi Police, because the place of incident is said to be Delhi. No one has been arrested yet. A woman from Jind city police station area told the police in her complaint that in March 2022, she had gone to Buana in Delhi. There, Vijay of Sonipat made an obscene video of her by giving her intoxicants. After this, the accused started blackmailing her by threatening to make the video viral. He raped her several times after this. She was also kept hostage. He threatened to make the video public if she told anyone about the incident. The woman alleges that Vijay’s brother-in-law, his mother and some others supported Vijay. On the complaint of the victim, the women’s police station has registered a zero FIR against Vijay under various sections including rape, cooperation against Shivani, Vijay’s brother-in-law, his mother and sent it to Delhi Police.
