Sharad Pawar faction’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) released the second list for Maharashtra assembly elections on Saturday. It contains the names of 22 candidates. On October 25, the party had released the first list. In which 45 candidates were announced. The party has announced the names of 67 candidates so far. NCP Sharad faction has given ticket to Yugendra Pawar from Baramati. He will contest against uncle Ajit Pawar. Anil Deshmukh has been nominated from Katol, Jitendra Awhad from Mumbra Kalwa and Jayant Patil from Islampur seat. NCP is part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance with Sharad, Congress-Shiv Sena Uddhav. On October 23, the three parties had announced to contest on 85-85-85 seats. 18 seats were said to be given to other parties of I.N.D.I.A block including Samajwadi Party, SWP and CPI (M).
