Ranji Trophy- Priyank Panchal’s century: Gujarat scored 285/7 on the first day; Hanuma Vihari, Rasheed and Bharat scored half centuries for Andhra Pradesh

The third round of Ranji Trophy started on Saturday. On the first day, Gujarat batsman Priyank Panchal scored a century in the match against Rajasthan and shared a 156-run partnership with Arya Desai for the opening wicket. Andhra Pradesh scored 295 runs by losing 6 wickets on the first day against Himachal Pradesh at its home ground Visakhapatnam. Andhra Pradesh came to bat first after losing the toss. Three of its batsmen played half-century innings and scored 60 plus runs. Sheikh Rasheed scored 69 runs by facing 132 balls, Hanuma Vihari scored 66 runs by facing 115 balls and KS Bharat scored 65 runs by facing 39 balls.

Rishi Dhawan and Divesh Sharma took 2-2 wickets for Himachal Pradesh.
