Elephants crushed 3 people in Chandia forest range of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Umaria. Out of these, 2 people died. One youth is injured. The incident took place in Devra village on NH-43 on Saturday morning. This village is just 4 km away from Salkhaniya village, where 10 elephants have died in the last 3 days. According to the information, 3 elephants entered the village at around 8 am. There was a stir as soon as the elephants were seen. Ratan Yadav (62), who had gone to the river bank, got caught in the elephant’s feet. Due to this, he died on the spot.
