Foreign devotees dance to the beats of drums in Mathura: 3 lakh devotees did the 21 KM Govardhan Parikrama; offered 1008 types of dishes to Giriraj Ji

A huge crowd of devotees has gathered in Mathura for Govardhan Puja. Devotees are doing a 21 km parikrama of Govardhan mountain. So far, 3 lakh devotees have done the parikrama. More than 5 lakh devotees are expected to reach by evening. Devotees have arrived from different states of India as well as from abroad. They are dancing to the beats of drums. 1008 types of dishes were offered to Giriraj Ji. On this festival, people worship Giriraj Ji by making an idol from cow dung in their homes as well. Along with this, many types of dishes made from new grains are prepared and offered to him. Which is called Annakoot.
