Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday inaugurated the two-day Anti-Terrorism Conference-2024. During this, he said that the Modi government has taken steps against terrorism in 10 years. This has created a strong ecosystem to fight terrorism. Prime Minister Modi’s zero tolerance slogan against terrorism has been adopted not only by India but the whole world. Amit Shah further said that this conference will increase coordination between security agencies to strengthen India’s security structure. In this conference of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) going on in Delhi, the problems faced in the action taken against terrorism for the last few years will be discussed. Senior police officers of states and union territories, special security agencies, forensic and technical experts will attend this conference. Thanked the families of the martyrs
While addressing the conference, Amit Shah said that 75 years have passed since India’s independence. So far 36,468 policemen have sacrificed their lives to maintain the internal security of the country and the security of the borders. I want to thank all of them and the families of the martyrs. Amit Shah said that young officers will have to be equipped with high level techniques to deal with terrorist attacks in an accurate manner. This will be made an important part of their training. Police’s responsibility in attacks on states: Amit Shah said that the police will have to fight in the attacks on states. However, all the central agencies will provide support from providing information to taking action.
