Intrusion into Bangladeshi Assistant High Commission in Tripura: Indian Foreign Ministry called it regrettable, security increased

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs on Monday condemned the intrusion into the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, Tripura. The ministry said- The incident of intrusion into the premises of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala today is very regrettable. Diplomatic and consular property should not be targeted under any circumstances. The statement further said- The government is taking action to increase the security of the Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi and other Bangladeshi Deputy and Assistant High Commissions across the country. The rally was in protest against the arrest of Chinmay Prabhu. According to news agency PTI, on Monday, many people took out a rally around the Bangladeshi mission in Tripura against the arrest of Chinmay Prabhu. Where more than 50 protesters entered the premises of the Bangladeshi Assistant High Commission in Agartala. The attacks on Hindus and the arrest of Chinmay Prabhu have increased the bitterness in the relations between the two countries. Tomorrow there is a hearing in Bangladesh regarding Chinmay Prabhu’s bail. On the other hand, Kolkata ISKCON spokesperson Radharaman Das has claimed the arrest of 4 ISKCON members in Bangladesh so far.
