A video is being shared on social media with a communal twist. In the video, it can be seen that a crowd of people is vandalizing a religious place. It is being claimed that this video is from Bangladesh. Where people of the Muslim community vandalized the temple. Truth of the viral video… To know the truth of the viral video, we reverse searched its key frame. On searching, we found this video with information on a YouTube channel named The Metro TV. The title of the video on the channel reads – Ali Pagla’s tomb is being demolished in Kazipur, Sirajganj. At the same time, this video was uploaded on the channel on 29 August 2024. In the next phase of investigation, we searched the keywords related to it. On searching, we found the news related to the viral video on the local news website of Bangladesh. Link to the website… According to the website, this video of 29 August 2024 is from Kazipur in Sirajganj city of Bangladesh. Where some people vandalized the dargah of Ali Pagla. After this incident, the villagers dismissed the Imam of the mosque. At the same time, this news was published on the website on 31 August 2024. It is clear that the claim being made with the viral video on social media is completely false. The religious place seen in the video is not a temple but a dargah. Join us against fake news.
