Sensex closed at 80,845 today i.e. on 3 December with a gain of 597 points. Nifty also rose by 181 points, it closed at 24,457. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 rose and 5 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 41 rose and 9 fell. In the NSE sectoral index, all sectors closed with gains except FMCG and Pharma. Adani Port was the top gainer of Nifty. Out of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 31 stocks rose and 18 fell. However, there was no change in 1 stock. All the NSE sectoral indices closed with gains except FMCG and PSU Bank.
