TV actor Ravi Dubey will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayan. The actor has made many revelations about his role in the film during an interview. Ravi Dubey will play the role of Laxman in Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi starrer Ramayan. Earlier, casting director Mukesh Chhabra had said that it was difficult to find the right actor to play the character of Laxman. The film will be released in two parts in 2026 and 2027. Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayan is in the news even before its release. Ravi Dubey will play the character of Laxman in the film. Ravi Dubey shared his experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor during a conversation with Connect Cine. Also, while telling about his character in the film, he said- ‘I am playing the character of Laxman in the film. Finally, I have got permission from the producers to share anything about my character.’ Shared information after getting permission from the makers Ravi Dubey further said, ‘I did not talk about this for so long because I did not want to make any statement without the permission of the director and producer of the film. Namit Sir and Nitesh Sir wanted that no information about the characters of the film should be shared.’ He further said, ‘Playing the character of Laxman is an honor and responsibility.’ Wife Sargun Mehta also did not know the role – Ravi In this interview, Ravi Dubey’s wife Sargun Mehta was also present with him. The actor’s wife said – Ravi did not even tell me that he was working in Nitesh Sir’s film Ramayan, nor did he share anything about his role. In the film Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Ram and Pallavi will play the role of Sita. At the same time, superstar Yash will be seen in the role of Ravana. This film will be released in two parts, the first part of which will be released on the occasion of Diwali in 2026 and the second part will be released in 2027. If reports are to be believed, it is also being said that Sunny Deol can play the role of Lord Hanuman in this film. However, till now the actor or the makers have not given any information on this.
