Mumbai’s Bandra Court has ordered the Bandra Police to register an FIR against director Ali Abbas Zafar, co-producer Himanshu Mehra and others on charges of fraud and forgery. The case is related to the 2024 film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He said that fake documents were signed in his name during the shooting of the film. However, the police did not take any action. After this, Vasu had demanded the court to register an FIR. The court said on 2 December 2024 that a large amount is involved in this fraud and it is spread across many places. The court also said that the help of many agencies will have to be taken to gather evidence and it may contain many documents. The allegations are serious and the case is cognizable and non-bailable. Now Vasu Bhagnani hopes that he will get justice soon, as the case will be disposed of soon under the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023. This case is again bringing the controversies of the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to the fore. For the past several months, there has been a legal dispute between Vasu Bhagnani and Ali Abbas Zafar over the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ali Abbas Zafar has not yet made any public statement on this dispute. FWICE members have asked him to provide evidence. Pooja Entertainment rejected Zafar’s allegations and said that the outstanding amount was accounted for from the set-off. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. It was released in April 2024. However, the film received a disappointing response from the audience.
