Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal made announcements for auto drivers on Tuesday. Kejriwal said that we will get insurance of Rs 10 lakh for auto drivers. Kejriwal also said that auto drivers will be given Rs 1 lakh for daughter’s marriage and Rs 5000 for uniform. Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February. AAP has released two lists of candidates and announced 31 names. Kejriwal had reached auto driver Navneet’s house on his invitation for dinner. He said that now I have eaten the salt of auto drivers, so it is my duty to repay the debt of this salt. After this, Kejriwal made 5 announcements… 1. Our government will give Rs 1 lakh for daughter’s marriage. 2. Twice a year (on Holi and Diwali) the government will give Rs 2500 each (total five thousand) for uniform. 3. Every auto driver will get a life insurance of Rs 10 lakh and accidental insurance of Rs 5 lakh.
4. Children of auto drivers should move ahead and become IAS-IPS, lawyers, doctors-engineers. The government will bear the cost of coaching for this.
5. Poochhun app will be launched again for auto drivers. Auto drivers were invited to his home for tea. Earlier on Monday evening, Kejriwal had invited auto drivers to his home for tea, sharing the pictures of which he had written, “I have an old and deep relationship with auto drivers. No matter what the time has been, we have always supported each other.
