The stock market is closed today i.e. on 25 December due to Christmas holiday. Due to the holiday, there will be no trading in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). At the same time, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and National Commodity Exchange (NCDEX) will also remain closed. Today is the last holiday of this year in the market except the weekend. Earlier yesterday i.e. on December 24, the Sensex closed at 78,472 with a decline of 67 points. Nifty also fell 25 points, it closed at 23,727. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at 55,023 with a gain of 205 points. Out of 30 shares of Sensex, 17 were down and 13 were up.
