Hamas on Thursday confirmed the death of military chief Mohammad Daif in an Israeli airstrike. According to the Times of Israel report, Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida released a video. In this video, apart from Daif, Abu also informed about the death of Hamas deputy commander Abu Tamai’a, combat support chief Raed Thabet and military wing chief of staff Rafa Salameh, Khan Yunus brigade commander Ayman Nofal, Central and North Gaza brigade commander Ahmed Ghandur. According to Israel, Daif was killed in an airstrike on 23 July last year. Israel attacked the hideout of brigade commander Rafa Salameh in Khan Yunus, where Daif was also present.
