In West Bengal’s Howrah district, a woman allegedly sold her husband’s kidney for Rs 10 lakh. After this, she fled with her lover with the entire money. Police said that the woman asked her husband to raise money for his daughter’s education. And forced him to sell his kidney for Rs 10 lakh. Police have started investigation on the complaint of the husband, a resident of Sankrail. The husband told in his complaint that his wife was pressurizing him to sell his kidney and bring money for the last one year. She said that with this money she will run the house well and get her 12-year-old daughter admitted in a good school. After this, he agreed to sell his kidney and signed a contract with a buyer. After this, the family started searching for her with the help of friends and acquaintances. The woman was found in a house in Barrackpore, the northern suburb of Kolkata, away from Howrah.
