Comedian Bharti Singh has recently shared an anecdote related to Shahrukh Khan. Bharti Singh told that when Shahrukh Khan came in the getup of her childhood character Lalli, she got emotional. When Shahrukh became Lalli, I got emotional – Bharti Bharti told while talking on the show Thugesh- ‘I was new to the industry, I came from my village. I doubted whether Shahrukh would really be able to play the character of Lalli or not. I did not know about him. So, I asked him, ‘Sir, will you dress up like Lalli?’ And he immediately said- yes. When I gave him the wig, he also asked for the full dress of my character, which was a frock. When he wore the clothes, I could not stop my tears.’ Bharti came from a poor family – Bharti Bharti said- ‘I came to Mumbai from a poor family of Amritsar, and here I was asking for something from Shahrukh Khan. He did exactly as I told him. It was the golden day of my life.
