One thousand deaths in 2 days due to violence in Syria: Clash between army and Assad supporters; People of minority Alawite community hanged

Clashes have been going on between the army and supporters of former President Bashar al-Assad in Latakia and Tartus in Syria for the past several days. More than 1000 people have died in 2 days due to this violence. This figure of deaths is the highest since the Syrian civil war in 2011. This information has been given by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an organization that monitors war in Syria. According to the organization, security forces have killed more than 745 people of the Alawite Muslim community in the last two days. Most of them have been hanged. Apart from this, 148 fighters supporting Assad have also been killed. At the same time, 125 security personnel have also died in this violence. After the coup in December last year, Bashar fled the country and went to Russia. After this, the power of Syria was captured by the militant organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). Claim – Assad supporters attacked security forces first The Syrian government says that Assad’s loyal fighters attacked the security forces, which started the violence. At the same time, Asar’s fighters have accused the security forces of bombing residential areas. According to reports, the clash started when the security forces tried to arrest a person. After this, the government has deployed a large number of troops in Latakia and Tartus. Along with this, curfew has also been ordered. Violence in Latakia and Tartus provinces has posed a challenge for the government led by Abu Mohammad al-Julani. These areas are strongholds of the Alawi community, which has been loyal to former President Bashar al-Assad. This is the most severe violent clash in Syria after Bashar al-Assad was removed from power in December last year. How Julani carried out the coup According to media reports, since the Syrian civil war ended in 2016, Julani has been engaged in strengthening his fighters. He prepared his army with the help of people from China’s Uighur Muslims to Arab and Central Asia. Julani waited for the right time, which came due to the Israel-Hamas war and the Russia-Ukraine war. In 2022, the war started in Ukraine and Russia got busy there. Due to this, Russia withdrew its troops from Syria. Then in 2023, the war started between Israel and Hamas. The result was that Iran and Hezbollah, who were helping Assad in Syria, could no longer pay attention to him. After the death of Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah became weak. Taking advantage of this, Julani attacked the Syrian army and overthrew the President in 11 days. —————————— Also read this news related to Syria… How Baghdadi’s lieutenant Julani carried out a coup in Syria: Left his medical studies and became a jihadist, betrayed Al Qaeda and ended Assad’s rule
