After this there will be a program at the Taj Hotel. This entire program will be of four hours. During this, there will also be a photo shoot of all the captains. The first match of IPL will be between Bengaluru-Kolkata on March 22. IPL-2025 is scheduled to start from March 22. The opening match of the 18th season of the league will be played between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Kolkata. This time 74 matches will be played in 65 days. There will be 70 matches of the league stage till May 18, including 12 double headers. That is, 2 matches will be played 12 times in 1 day.
