The captains of all the teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will gather in Mumbai on March 20 for a pre-season meeting. According to a Cricbuzz report, this meeting will be held at the BCCI headquarters in the afternoon. Apart from the captains, the managers of all the 10 franchises have also been invited to this program. BCCI and IPL management have sent an email to all the franchises. It has been told about a meeting, which will last for one hour. In this meeting, the teams will be informed about the new changes for the upcoming season. After this there will be a program at the Taj Hotel. This entire program will be of four hours. During this, there will also be a photo shoot of all the captains. The first match of IPL will be between Bengaluru-Kolkata on March 22. IPL-2025 is scheduled to start from March 22. The opening match of the 18th season of the league will be played between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Kolkata. This time 74 matches will be played in 65 days. There will be 70 matches of the league stage till May 18, including 12 double headers. That is, 2 matches will be played 12 times in 1 day.
