An FIR has been registered against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in Raipur. A case has been registered at the City Kotwali police station in the case of objectionable remarks on the Brahmin community. People of the society protested in Raipur on Monday. The director is accused of hurting the religious sentiments of the Brahmin community with his objectionable statements. Due to which the Brahmin community of Raipur had complained to the City Kotwali on Monday demanding legal action against Anurag Kashyap. The FIR has been registered against the director on the complaint of the Rashtriya Brahmin Mahasangh, whose sentiments were hurt. The head of the organization, Pandit Neelkanth Tripathi, has said that the sentiments of the society have been hurt due to making caste-based abusive comments on the Brahmin community. On the complaint, the City Kotwali Police of Raipur has registered a case against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap under sections 196 and 302 of the Indian Justice Code.
