The Crime Branch Border team in Faridabad has arrested a drug smuggler. 5.53 grams of smack has been recovered from the accused. The police took this action during patrolling. The police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating. According to the police spokesperson, action was taken on the basis of secret information during patrolling on May 1. The team arrested 25-year-old Rohit from near Sector 37 Bypass Road. The accused is a resident of Prasad Nagar, Badarpur Border. The police have registered a case under sections of drug trafficking at Police Station Sarai Khwaja. During interrogation, it was found that the accused is a drug addict. He had bought smack from Jaitpur Delhi for Rs 8 thousand. The police is searching for the person who sold the smack. The accused has been taken on two-day police remand.
