The closing ceremony of IPL 2025 will salute the valor of the army for Operation Sindoor. The BCCI has invited the three army chiefs to the final match to be held in Ahmedabad on June 3. Board Secretary Devjit Saikia said on Tuesday, ‘We have invited key army officials and soldiers including Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh to watch the final match of IPL in Ahmedabad to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor.’ BCCI Secretary Saikia said- BCCI salutes the valor, courage and selfless service of the country’s Armed Forces. The army made heroic efforts under Operation Sindoor which protected and inspired the nation. In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, the Indian Army carried out Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May and attacked 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan.
