Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) leader Lee Jae-myung has won the presidential election in South Korea. He defeated Kim Moon Soo of the ruling People Power Party (PPP). In the initial counting, Lee was ahead with 48.31% of the votes, while Kim got only 42.9% of the votes. Lee said after the victory – I thank the voters.
