Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Border 2 is already generating considerable buzz even before its release. The film is set to release on January 23rd. Two days ago, the teaser of the film’s most anticipated song, “Ghar Kab Aaoge,” was released. This song is a recreation of “Sandese Aate Hain” from the previous film, “Border.” Following the release of the teaser, reports emerged that music composer Anu Malik, who composed the original song, had not been credited in the new song. Malik himself expressed his displeasure in an interview and hoped that the filmmakers would credit him. However, Anu Malik’s claim is completely baseless. When T-Series released the teaser on December 29th, Anu Malik’s name appeared first in the song credits, alongside Javed Akhtar, who wrote the original song. Furthermore, the song description also includes both Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar’s names. In the new song “Ghar Kab Aaoge,” Mithun is credited for song recreation, and Manoj Muntashir for new lyrics. “Ghar Kab Aaoge” features vocals from Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh. The original song “Sandese Aate Hain” featured vocals from Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod. Speaking to PTI, Anu Malik said, “I believe this song has been recreated. I am not a part of it. I am confident they will include my name in it, as I composed it. They should, because people know about our contribution; they cannot ignore it. They couldn’t make “Border 2” without “Sandese Aate Hain.” Both Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar have made significant contributions to this song, so they must include our name somewhere.”
