On February 7th, the second day of the event, when she went to the women’s washroom inside the stadium, an unknown person recorded an objectionable video of her without her knowledge. According to the FIR, the alleged video was sent from an Instagram account to her friend’s Instagram account. It is alleged that the sender believed the account belonged to the actress. The FIR also states, “The content of the video is obscene. After uploading the video, the unknown persons threatened to send more private videos and make video calls. They demanded money and began blackmailing the friend.” The actress has been threatened with making the video public. She has alleged that the accused threatened that if she did not pay the money, the video would be made public on other social media platforms. Based on her complaint, a case was registered at the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station on February 13 under relevant sections of the IT Act and sections 77 (stalking), 351 (criminal intimidation) and 308 (extortion). Further investigation is underway to nab the accused. The investigation is ongoing. The complainant has handed over photos and videos related to the case to the police in a pen drive. The police have said that a case has been registered at the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station under relevant sections of the IT Act and sections 77 (stalking), 351 (criminal intimidation) and 308 (extortion).
