Actor Shatrughan Sinha recently praised Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar. He called it an absolute masterpiece and dismissed claims that it was a propaganda film. It’s worth noting that Dhurandhar was released in theaters on December 5th last year, but the discussion surrounding the film continues. Many Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, have praised the film. Now, Shatrughan Sinha has also given his reaction after watching the film. In a post on his X account, Shatrughan Sinha wrote, “Wow! Just watched the most talked-about film ‘Dhurandhar,’ an absolute masterpiece. What kind of ‘propaganda’ film is this? A film is a film. It’s a brilliant, gripping, interesting, and thoroughly entertaining film, made with complete honesty. The sets built in Bangkok, Thailand (representing Pakistan) are beautiful and realistic.” He further added, “Technically, the film is excellent, the editing is superb. The cinematographer’s excellent work is commendable. Congratulations to the entire talented cast and crew who made this film a visual delight. All the actors have done a superb job.”
Shatrughan Sinha praised Ranveer Singh’s acting, specifically praising the performances of Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna. He wrote that Ranveer Singh is outstanding in his role, while calling Sanjay Dutt a worthy son of a worthy father. He also praised Akshaye Khanna’s acting. In his post, he described Rakesh Bedi’s role as “the icing on the cake” and said that the music and choreography have infused new energy into the film. He also praised Saumya Tandon’s cameo. Finally, he praised Aditya Dhar’s direction, calling the film an unforgettable cinematic treat/masterstroke, and wrote, “Long live Indian cinema! Jai Hind!”
The film’s sequel, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” is set to release next month. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan. The film will clash at the box office with Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.” Both films will release in theaters on March 19th.
