Lior Raz, creator of the popular web series “Fauda,” met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jerusalem, Israel, on Thursday. He described the meeting as a huge honor. In an interview with ANI, Lior Raz said that meeting the Prime Minister of a major country like India was a special moment for him. He said he knows that his series has a large audience in India. He said, “It’s a great honor for us. We have a huge audience in India. Receiving this recognition from your Prime Minister is a big deal. He supports art and production in his country. We should learn from this in our country. We would like to work with India again.” Lior Raz recalled that his series “Fauda” premiered on Netflix at the Goa Film Festival. He said he wants to visit India again and should get such an opportunity again.

During this period, India and Israel elevated their relationship to a Special Strategic Partnership. “Fauda” is a political thriller web series. “Fauda” is an Israeli political thriller web series. It depicts the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. “Fauda” means “chaos” in Arabic. The story revolves around Doron, the commander of Mistaravim, a secret Israeli defense unit. Doron returns to duty after retirement. His mission is to capture a prominent Hamas terrorist known as “The Panther.” Doron initially believed he had been killed, but later discovers he is alive. Although the characters are fictional, the story is inspired by real events. It is based on the experiences of Israel’s undercover unit, “Duvdevan.” The series’ creator, Lior Raz, was a member of this unit and played the role of Doron in the series. Four seasons have been released so far. Each season consists of 12 episodes. A fifth season has also been announced. The story will be based on the aftermath of the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023.
