According to reports, Minister Gulab Rao Patil’s family had gone to attend the New Year celebrations in his car. The driver argued with the villagers over honking and causing a collision. On hearing the news of the fight, some people from the village and Shiv Sena workers also came. After this, the vehicles and shops parked there were set on fire.
