Flights were canceled amid the ongoing bombings in the Middle East, leaving them stranded. They are staying at a hotel near the Burj Khalifa. The family has appealed to PM Modi for their safe return. The couple is getting married in April, and preparations are underway at home. Cards have been printed and invitations are being sent to relatives. The father said, “My son was supposed to return yesterday.”
Ajay Jain, a coal businessman, lives in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar. He explains, “My elder son, Prince Jain (27), is getting married in April. He has gone to Dubai with his fiancée, Payal Jain (26), for a pre-wedding shoot. Prince is accompanied by his younger son, Arihant (19), Payal’s brother, Monu Jain (30), and his wife, Muskan (28). They left Varanasi for Delhi on February 25th and arrived in Dubai on February 27th. Everyone was scheduled to return on March 2nd after the photoshoot. Ajay Jain said they were staying at a hotel near the Burj Khalifa. However, flight services have been suspended due to the Iran-related conflict and rising tensions in the region, preventing them from returning to India as planned. Stranded family members have also contacted the Indian Embassy in Dubai and have been advised to contact the relevant airline. However, they have not received any clarity on their return. The businessman appealed to PM Modi for a safe return.
Ajay says, “I would like to request the Modi government to facilitate the evacuation of all Indians and my children stranded there. Everyone is staying at the Zuber Hotel next to the Burj Khalifa. 600 missiles have been fired there so far.” Regarding government assistance, Ajay says he received a call from the District Magistrate’s office. He has noted the address. He is receiving updates via video calls, but his concerns remain.
Ajay Jain said his family members in India are in constant contact with his son and daughter-in-law via video calls. Amidst wedding preparations at home, everyone’s only concern is that the children return home safely. Our son had gone for a pre-wedding shoot. He was supposed to return, but now he is stranded there. We appeal to the government to ensure the safe return of our children and all other Indians stranded there.
