Athiya Shetty will no longer be seen in films. The actress has distanced herself from Bollywood. In a recent interview, father Sunil Shetty has revealed that his daughter has decided to say goodbye to the world of acting. Sunil told that Athiya has accepted that she has no interest in films and has decided to walk away from films. In an interview to Zoom, Sunil says- ‘She told me one day, Baba, I don’t want to do films and she just walked away.’ I salute her for the fact that she said she has no interest in films. After the film Motichoor, very good projects came in front of her but she did not want to do them. Praising the daughter, Sunil said that at this time she wants to focus on the most important role of her life i.e. motherhood. Today she has got the best role of her life. She is working in the best film, and this is life. She is in the role of a mother and she is liking it very much. Athiya started her career in 2015 with Nikhil Advani’s romantic action film ‘Hero’, which was produced by Salman Khan. Two years later, she appeared in Anees Bazmee’s romantic comedy Mubarakan, which also starred Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz. She was last seen in the film ‘Motichoor’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in 2019. Since then, Athiya remains in the news for her personal life. The actress married cricketer KL Rahul in 2023. On March 24 this year, the couple welcomed their daughter Ivara.
