Senior Punjab Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa has given a complaint to Chandigarh Police against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, state president Aman Arora and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema. He has said in his complaint that the said leaders and their associates have tampered with his video. He has demanded to register an FIR in this regard. The matter is being investigated by Chandigarh Police. Bajwa mainly raised 3 points in his letter – 1. In the letter written by Bajwa, it has been said that an FIR has been registered by the Vigilance Bureau against former minister and senior Akali leader Vigilance. While Majithia’s wife, Ganiv Kaur is an MLA. Vigilance officers entered his house in gross violation of the law and reached his bedroom. Such behavior against a woman is inappropriate and against the law. I had told about Sukhpal Singh Khaira in my video. Ganiv Kaur Majithia was said to be from the video. 1. Their team removed Ganiv Kaur and left Majithia. 2. In this case, he posted a video on June 25, 2025, in which the alleged misconduct of female MLA Ganiv Kaur and Punjab Vigilance Bureau was criticized in a video of three minutes 13 seconds. However, the said leaders and their team edited this video in such a way that it seemed as if I had opposed the action taken against Bikram Singh Majithia. I had protested against the MLA’s house in Chandigarh. 3. These leaders have done all this to harm his political image and the Congress party. The video was presented in such a way that the public could be misled. In this regard, a pen drive of real and tampered videos has also been handed over to the police. He says that this is not only illegal but also punishable under the IT Act and the Indian Penal Code 2023. Appropriate action should be taken against the accused in this case. FIR filed against Bajwa for making 50 grenade statement Pratap Singh Bajwa claimed in an interview to a TV channel on 13 April that 50 grenades have arrived in Punjab. Out of these, 18 have been used and 32 are yet to be exploded across the state. Before the interview was aired, its teaser was released. This created a controversy and an FIR was filed against Bajwa in Mohali on the same evening. This matter has now reached the High Court. At the same time, Bajwa has also been interrogated several times by the Punjab Police.
