Bollywood rapper-singer Badshah has recorded a rap version of the Haryanvi folk song “Tettiri.” In this connection, the singer, along with his team, visited the village of Asadpur-Nandnor in Sonipat. He was taken on a bullock cart and taken for a ride through the village streets. He then enjoyed a local meal at the home of Sarpanch Mukesh alias Ballu. During the event held at the village school, it was announced from the stage that Badshah would honor the Sarpanches of Asadpur and Nandnor villages. Sarpanch Ranveer Singh, also known as Nana, said that Asadpur and Nandanor are the same village and share a common government school. Badshah would honor both sarpanches. Badshah jokingly remarked, “Well, I should be the one honoring them…” Ranveer Singh replied that Badshah had already been honored and “I won’t tolerate any complaints…”
