Announcement of giving 11 lakhs and 2 acres of land to Vinesh Phogat: Youth from Haryana said- open your own wrestling academy, prepare exploitation-free international players

Youths associated with Ajay Pehelwan Group of Panipat have announced to give 11 lakh cash and 2 acres of land to Haryana wrestler Vinesh Phogat. The youth have proposed to open Vinesh’s wrestling academy in Atta village of Samalkha town. The youth say that Vinesh can make children exploitation-free international level players in this academy. Actually, Vinesh Phogat was disqualified before the final match in the Paris Olympics for being 100 grams overweight. Against this, Vinesh has filed a petition in the sports court i.e. Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and demanded a silver medal. The decision on Vinesh’s petition may come today. Said – The government gave land to Sushil Pehelwan, we will give it to Vinesh Ajay, a resident of Panchvati Colony of Samalkha, said that he is originally from Dehra village. Ever since he heard the news of Vinesh Phogat being disqualified, he is very sad. He had also supported Vinesh at Jantar Mantar. God may not approve of a medal in Paris Olympics, but the country is with Vinesh. Vinesh is heartbroken. The whole country should support Vinesh in this hour of grief by honoring her. Seeing Vinesh upset, it came to our mind how we can support her. So all of us youth united and collected 11 lakh rupees in cash in Vinesh’s name. Also announced to give 2 acres of land for the academy. The government had given land in the name of Sushil Pahelwan. On the same lines, we have proposed to give land. Kunal, who is giving 2 acres of land to Vinesh after consulting with the family, said that I have recently given birth to a daughter. I want her to also go ahead in sports, but seeing all the issues of Vinesh, my mind is very scared. Vinesh was first exploited at Jantar Mantar. She reached Paris Olympics fighting the circumstances. She was exploited here too. If this keeps happening with daughters, then how will daughters move forward? Therefore, after consulting with the family, we have announced to give land in Vinesh’s name. Whenever Vinesh says, we will open an academy on this land. At that time, we will also register the land in Vinesh’s name. We want that Vinesh now prepares the coming generation in her own way. Vinesh has announced her retirement. After being disqualified, Vinesh Phogat announced her retirement from wrestling on 8 August. She posted on social media at 5.17 am, “Maa wrestling won over me, I lost. Forgive me, your dream, my courage, all are broken. I don’t have more strength than this now. Goodbye wrestling 2001-2024, I will always be indebted to all of you. …Sorry.”.
