Adani’s 8 shares fell after Hindenburg report: Not much impact on the market, Sensex closed 56 points down at 79,648

The US company Hindenburg and SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch controversy has not had any effect on the market. The Sensex closed with a marginal decline of 56 points at 79,648. Nifty also fell by 20 points. It closed at 24,347. Out of 10 stocks of Adani Group, 8 declined and 2 rose. Adani Wilmar fell the most by 4.10%. Total Gas and Energy Solutions fell by more than 3%. The stock of the group’s flagship company Adani Enterprises fell 1.61%. Green Energy and Ambuja Cement rose marginally. Hindenburg has claimed in its report released on Saturday that Madhabi and her husband Dhawal Buch have a stake in an offshore company associated with the Adani Group.
