IT company Wipro’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Subha Tatavarti resigned on Monday (August 12). Her resignation will be effective from August 16, 2024. The company has given this information in the exchange filing. Wipro said, ‘Chief Technology Officer Subha Tatavarti has resigned from the company to explore new opportunities outside Wipro.’ Subha Tatavarti joined Wipro in March 2021

Wipro had appointed Sanjeev Jain as the new COO of the company in place of Amit. He is working from Bangalore. Before Amit, on May 10, the company’s President of Asia Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa (APMEA), Anees Chencha, resigned. After the resignation of Amit Chaudhry and Anees Chencha, Subha Tatavarti is the third big officer to resign from Wipro. These resignations have happened after the resignation of Thierry Delaporte. These three big resignations have happened after the resignation of Wipro’s Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thierry Delaporte on 6 April. Amit, Anees and Delaporte have all worked in French tech company Capgemini. Both Amit and Anees joined Wipro when Delaporte was the CEO of the company. Sanjeev Jain reports to the company’s MD and CEO Srinivas Palliya and will also remain a member of Wipro’s Executive Committee. After Thierry Delaporte resigned, the company appointed Srinivas Palliya as the new CEO and MD of Wipro in his place. Delaporte was in Wipro for the last four years. Sanjeev Jain joined the company in 2023 as the Global Head of Wipro’s Business Operations. He has over 30 years of experience. Sanjeev Jain has been leading Wipro’s talent supply chain since joining the firm. Before joining Wipro, Sanjeev Jain worked at Kindril Holdings (IBM spin-off), IBM, Cognizant and GE. He is an alumnus of IIM-Mumbai. Srinivas Palliya has been with Wipro since 1992
Srinivas Palliya has been with Wipro since 1992 and has served in several leadership roles. He has also served as President of Wipro’s Consumer Business Unit and Global Head of Business Application Services. According to Wipro’s official website, Srinivas Palliya has studied Engineering and Master in Management from IIT Bangalore. He has also studied Leading Global Business Program from Harvard Business School and Advanced Leadership Program from McGill Executive Institute.
