Shri Krishna Janma Utsav: The temples of the city are decorated for Janmashtami, security is alert, policemen in plain clothes are deployed around the temples

On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, cultural devotional programs, Krishnalila tableaus and exhibitions are being organized at various places in the city. In view of this, security has been tightened in the entire city including around the temples. Duties have been assigned with additional force. Policemen have been deployed with door frame metal detectors and hand held metal detectors at 10 major temples of the city. Police Commissioner, Om Prakash Narwal has instructed all police station managers and outpost in-charges to ensure increased police patrolling to prevent incidents of chain snatching, snatching etc. in markets and crowded areas. Police force should also be present at the places where public bhandaras have been organized. Coordinate with the organizers and deploy adequate police force under security arrangements at temples. The CP said that special attention is being paid to social media. Action will be taken against anti-social elements spreading rumors. Policemen in civil clothes will also be deployed around temples and event venues. Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival begins A grand three-day Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival has begun at Mahashiv Mandir, Sector 37. The three-day Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival began on Saturday evening with the worship of Sri Ganesh and other mythological deities with Vedic mantras in the temple. RWA head PC Sharma, BB Sharma, general secretary Suresh Gupta, SN Mishra, Ajay Gupta, RD Sharma became the hosts in the worship. Pandit Lakshmi Narayan and Pandit Narendra Acharya were performing the duties. On this occasion, members of all social organizations including Mahila Sankirtan Mandal, Vaishya Agrawal Sabha, Arya Samaj were present. The grand staging of the Janmotsav is being done by the famous Rasleela group of Shri Kanhaiyalal of Vrindavan. In the programs, the staging of the character of Shri Narsi Bhagat and Shri Sudama, the episode of the child leelas of Shri Krishna, Raas will be organized. Shri Siddhadata Ashram is ready to celebrate the festival. Shri Lakshminarayan Divyadham Shri Siddhadata Ashram located on Surajkund Road is all decked up and ready to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 26. The whole complex has been decorated with colourful lights. On this occasion, the temple trust has arranged for various types of tableaux, discourses and cultural programmes. General Secretary of the Ashram Management Committee DC Tanwar said that the whole complex has been decorated with beautiful lights. Devotees from Delhi NCR participate in this programme. For them, various types of delicacies have been arranged at many stalls outside the ashram as well.
