KRK’s controversial statement on actor Manoj Bajpayee: Defamation case is going on in Indore court, Manoj’s lawyer said – this is contempt of court

Along with the post, KRK has also attached the notice of Indore Court, which was issued by Indore District Court on 30 May 2024, in which he was asked to appear on 24 July 2024. But KRK did not appear in court. Actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation case against KRK in Indore. Dates are being fixed one after the other in the case. After 24 July, 30 July, then 5 August, 8 August, 9 August, 20 August, 27 August were fixed. The next date on Tuesday is 4 September. Due to the judge being on leave, dates are being given continuously in the case. KRK’s post on social media platform X has again heated up the issue, because the defamation case filed by Manoj Bajpayee is regarding a similar post by KRK. Despite the case, KRK is continuously posting against Manoj. This time he even tagged the court notice with the post and wrote objectionable things about it as well. KRK has also posted this “Manoj Bajpayee lives in Mumbai but he went to Indore and filed a defamation case against me, which is going on in the court. This man is so obsessed with me that then, he went to Indore to file another defamation case against me. On the same day on 26 July 2021, a tweet was made from the Twitter handle KRK@kamaalrk… ‘I am not a Lukka and Faaltu in life, So I don’t watch web series. Better you ask Sunil Pal. But why do you like to watch a Charsi, Ganjedi Manoj? You can’t be selective. If you hate Charsi Ganjedi in Bollywood, So you should hate everyone.’ (It can be read in Hindi like this- ‘I am not a Lukka and Faaltu in life, so I don’t watch web series. Better you ask Sunil Pal. If you hate Charsi Ganjedi in Bollywood, So you should hate everyone.’) The uproar increased because at the same time actor Manoj Bajpayee’s web series Family Man 2 was released. This tweet of KRK was linked to that. Angered by this tweet, the actor filed a defamation case against KRK in Indore court. A warrant was issued against KRK in the case, after which he had to come to Indore. KRK has given this clarification regarding the case KRK has said that ‘He (Manoj Bajpayee) has filed a false case to harass me. I don’t even remember when he tweeted and from which handle. The handle he is talking about does not exist on Twitter. It is obvious that it is a fake case. In this way, he is trying to harass me. He is not alone, there are many such people in Bollywood who want to harass me. Only he can tell what disease he has, what problem he is suffering from.’ KRK also got a setback from the High Court. After a defamation case was filed against him for calling Manoj Bajpayee the biggest drug addict of Bollywood on his Twitter handle KRKBOXOFFICE, KRK did not appear in court. He also filed a petition in the Indore High Court to get Manoj Bajpayee’s petition in the district court dismissed. However, the decision did not come in his favor. KRK had argued that this (KRKBoxOffice) Twitter handle does not belong to him. He does not use this Twitter handle. On 22 October 2020, he had sold it to Salim Ahmed, but the court did not accept his argument. The court accepted that when the tweets were made in 2021, KRK was using both the Twitter handles. He sold the Twitter handle before the incident, this is a matter of evidence. Therefore, on 13 December 2022, the High Court rejected his petition. The question is why Bajpayee got the case registered in Indore instead of Mumbai? Now the question arises that why a case was filed against KRK in Indore itself, then the answer to this is told by the complainant and actor Manoj Bajpayee’s lawyer Paresh Joshi that ‘The news related to the tweet was read by Manoj Bajpayee’s friend in Indore. After this, he informed Manoj that in this way KRK has defamed by tweeting. After this, a defamation case was filed against KRK on behalf of Manoj.’ Therefore, Indore has become the center of the legal battle started between the two. Lawyers say that the jurisdiction is formed from where the defamation is known. Then Manoj Bajpayee’s case came This was a web series.
