India’s wanted terrorist Farhatullah Ghori, living in Pakistan, has threatened to attack India in a video. He asked his sleeper cells to derail trains in Delhi-Mumbai and other cities and disturb the supply chain. This video was uploaded on Telegram three weeks ago. It surfaced in the media on Wednesday, 28 August. In the video, Ghori is telling the terrorists, ‘Use pressure cookers in bomb blasts. Intelligence agencies of the Government of India and ED are targeting their properties. This is weakening the sleeper cell network. We will come back and shake the government.’ Ghori has been declared a terrorist by the Government of India under UAPA. According to reports, security agencies are on alert after Ghori’s threat. On the other hand, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, in a press conference on Wednesday, called the incidents of placing stones on train tracks sensitive. Gauri is suspected to be involved in the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, Karnataka on March 1 this year. In this case, two accused were arrested from Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. In fact, Farhatullah Gauri and his son-in-law Shahid Faizal have a large sleeper cell network in southern India. Before the blast in the cafe, Gauri’s son-in-law Shahid was in contact with both the attackers. He was also the handler of this blast. 10 people were injured in this attack. Investigating agency NIA had arrested two main accused Abdul Matin Taha and Musavir Hussain Shajib in this case. According to NIA, Shajib had placed IED in the cafe on March 1, while Taha had prepared the entire plan. Both the terrorists were members of the Islamic State module in Shivamogga, Karnataka. According to the Home Ministry’s website, Faratullah Ghori is also known as Abu Sufiyan, Sardar Sahib and Faru. He is accused of carrying out many terrorist attacks in India. Ghori had attacked Akshardham temple in Gujarat in 2002, in which more than 30 people were killed. 80 people were injured. On the other hand, his name also came up in the suicide attack on the task force office in Hyderabad in 2005. Ghori is recruiting jihadis online. Last year, Delhi Police had given this information after arresting three terrorists from New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
