From today, the 19 kg commercial cylinder has become costlier by Rs 39. The price in Delhi has now increased by Rs 39 to ? 1691.50. Earlier it was available for ? 1652.50. In Kolkata, it is available at ?1802.50, up by ?38, earlier it was priced at ?1764.50. In Mumbai, the cylinder has increased by ?39 from ?1605 to ?1644. In Chennai, the cylinder is available for ?1855. However, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 KG domestic gas cylinder. It is available for ?803 in Delhi and ?802.50 in Mumbai. 2. ATF cheaper by up to ?4,567.76: Air travel may become cheaper

Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of ATF in metros. This may make air travel cheaper. According to the website of Indian Oil, ATF in Delhi has become cheaper by ?4,495.50 and has become ?93,480.22 per kilolitre (1000 litres). In Chennai, ATF has become cheaper by Rs 4,567.76 and is now available at Rs 97,064.32 per kilolitre. In Kolkata, ATF was available at Rs 100520.88 per kilolitre, now it has become cheaper by Rs 4,222.44 and is available at Rs 96,298.44. In Mumbai, the price of ATF has come down by Rs 4,217.56. It is now available at Rs 87,432.78 per kilolitre. 3. Changes in telecom rules: Fake calls and messages can be stopped

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has implemented changes in telecom rules from today to stop cyber criminal activity related to fraud calls and SMS scams. TRAI had issued guidelines to telecom companies like Jio, Airtel. In this, they were instructed to shift telemarketing calls and business messaging, especially calls originating from 140 mobile number series, to a blockchain-based distributed laser technology platform by September 30, 2024. After the strict guidelines of TRAI, it is expected that people can get relief from fake calls and messages. 4. Cylinder for Rs 450 in Rajasthan: Benefit to families associated with NFSA
Families associated with the National Food Security Act (NFSA) in Rajasthan will get gas cylinders for Rs 450. The state government had announced in the budget to provide LPG cylinders for Rs 450 to NFSA families along with BPL and Ujjwala connections. This decision of the government will now benefit about 68 lakh families. Currently, the government is providing LPG cylinders to about 70 lakh families (Ujjwala connection and BPL) at a subsidized rate of Rs 450. At present, there are more than one crore 7 lakh 35 thousand families in the NFSA list in Rajasthan. Out of the total families included in this NFSA list, there are about 37 lakh families who are also included in the list of BPL or Ujjwala connection holders. 5. Free Aadhaar update: Deadline extended till September 14, then charge Rs 50
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for free Aadhaar card update to September 14, 2024. If your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old, you can update it online for free till this date. After September 14, a service charge of ?50 will be charged for the update. Free update service is available online only. 6. UPI and RuPay card rules: Transaction fees will not be deducted from reward points
As per the new rules of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), transaction fees for RuPay credit card and UPI transactions will no longer be deducted from your RuPay reward points. Banks have been informed to implement this rule. No change in the price of petrol and diesel: Petrol is available in Delhi at Rs. 94.72 per liter
There is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even today, i.e. on 1st August. Currently, petrol is available in Delhi at Rs. 94.72 per liter and diesel at Rs. 87.62 per liter. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs. 103.44 and diesel at Rs. 89.97 per liter.
