An incident of breaking the idol being made for Durga Puja has come to light in Bangladesh. Some miscreants carried out this incident in a temple on the night of August 31 in Sherpur district of Bangladesh, adjacent to the Meghalaya border. The miscreants broke the lock of Barwari temple of Sherpur late on Saturday night and entered inside. Sagar Ravidas, general secretary of the temple committee, said that some miscreants broke the lock and chain of the temple and entered inside.
