On the last trading day of the week today i.e. 13th September, the Sensex closed at 82,890 with a fall of 71 points. Nifty also fell by 32 points, it closed at 25,356. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 fell and 11 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 32 fell and 18 rose. There was selling in FMCG, oil and gas and healthcare stocks, while stocks of all other sectors rose. There was mixed trading in the Asian market Western Carriers’ IPO opened The initial public offering i.e. IPO of light logistics company Western Carriers Limited has opened today. Click to read the full news… Yesterday the market had made an all-time high. Earlier, yesterday, i.e. on 12th September, the Sensex had made a new all-time high of 83,116 and the Nifty of 25,433. However, later both these indices came down a bit and the Sensex closed at 82,962, up by 1,439 points (1.77%) and the Nifty closed at 25,388, up by 470 points (1.89%).
