To know the truth of the video, we reverse searched its key frames on Google Image. Investigation revealed that this video was not from India but from Bangladesh. On a website named bdnews24.com, we found detailed news related to this incident. The headline of the news was – Former freedom fighter beaten up; In the video viral article, it was told that this incident took place at the District Commissioner’s Office in Barguna, Bangladesh. Freedom fighter Abdur Rashid Mian had reached the Commissioner’s Office around 10:30 in the morning, where a youth named Shaon Molla beat him up. Shaon is the son of former district BNP president Mahbubul Alam Farooq Molla. During the investigation, we found an article from Dhaka Tribune. In this article, it was told that BNP leaders had alleged that Rashid Mian used to get people’s names included in the list of freedom fighters by taking money. BNP also alleged that on Rashid’s recommendation, the names of many of their leaders were removed from the list of freedom fighters and this was the reason for this quarrel.
