The body of a 10-year-old girl was found this morning in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The family has claimed that the girl was raped and then murdered. The incident took place in Kultali police station area of Krupakhali area. Locals say that the girl was missing since the evening of October 4, but the police delayed taking action. In protest against the incident, people surrounded the Mahismari police outpost and attacked the police with sticks and stones. People also vandalized the police outpost and finally set it on fire.
