PM Modi released the 18th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi: Rs 20 thousand crore transferred to the accounts of more than 9.4 crore farmers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi today i.e. on 5 October (Saturday). This time PM Modi has sent an installment of Rs 2,000 each to the accounts of more than 9.4 crore farmers from Washim, Maharashtra. A total amount of more than Rs 20 thousand crore has been transferred as the 18th installment. Under this scheme, 91.5 lakh farmers of Maharashtra have received direct benefits of more than Rs 2000 crore. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 6,000 to farmers every year in 3 installments of Rs 2,000 each. The first installment is released between April-July, the second installment between August-November and the third installment between December-March. Under the scheme, the government has so far sent an amount of more than Rs 3 lakh crore to the farmers’ accounts in 17 installments. 9.26 crore farmers got benefit in the 17th installment. The Prime Minister released the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi on June 18. Then an installment of Rs 2,000 each was sent to the accounts of 9.26 crore farmers. That is, a total amount of Rs 20 thousand crore was transferred. This scheme was started in 2019 to provide financial assistance to farmers. What to do if the installment has not arrived? Here in the drop down, options related to account number, payment, Aadhaar and other problems are given. Select it according to your problem and also write its description below. Now submit it. Eligible beneficiaries of the scheme can also register themselves through the Common Service Center (CSC). Apart from this, local patwaris, revenue officers and nodal officers nominated by the state government for the scheme are registering the farmers. All farmers get benefit in PM Kisan Yojana Initially, when the PM-Kisan scheme was launched (February 2019), its benefit was only for the families of small and marginal farmers. This included farmers who had combined land holdings of up to 2 hectares. In June 2019, the scheme was revised and extended to all farmer families. However, some farmers are still excluded from this scheme. Those excluded from PM Kisan include institutional land holders, farmer families holding constitutional posts, serving or retired officers and employees of the state or central government. It also includes officers and employees of public sector undertakings and government autonomous bodies. Apart from these, professionals like doctors, engineers and lawyers, as well as retired pensioners having monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 and those who have paid income tax in the previous assessment year, have also been excluded from this scheme.
