AAP will contest elections alone in Delhi, not in alliance with Congress: Party spokesperson said- We are capable of fighting overconfident Congress and arrogant BJP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to contest the Delhi Assembly elections alone. AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said on Wednesday, “We are capable of fighting the overconfident Congress and the arrogant BJP alone.” She said that for the last 10 years, Congress has no seat in the Delhi Assembly, yet AAP gave three seats to Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. Despite this, Congress did not feel the need to take allies along in Haryana. She alleged that in the Haryana elections, Congress did not take the I.N.D.I.A. parties seriously and did not form an alliance. Ultimately, Congress had to face defeat due to its overconfidence. In the Haryana Assembly elections, an alliance between Congress and AAP could not be formed. AAP had asked for 9 seats, which was rejected by Congress. After this, AAP contested 89 out of 90 seats in the state. However, the party did not get a single seat, Congress could get 37 seats. MP Raghav Chadha said- AAP is fully capable of defeating BJP
AAP MP Raghav Chadha said- BJP’s victory is less and Congress’s defeat is more in Haryana assembly elections. In Haryana, the public voted to remove BJP and bring change, but BJP got majority and their government was formed. Chadha said that if the elections were fought unitedly in Haryana, the results would have been different. There are many states in the country where Congress is not able to defeat BJP and if elections are fought with I.N.D.I.A parties here, the results will be different. He said that in some states local parties can defeat BJP themselves. And in many states Congress becomes weak in a direct fight with BJP. If Congress contests elections here together with I.N.D.I.A, then BJP can be easily defeated. He said that in the years 2015 and 2020, Arvind Kejriwal and AAP formed the government with the biggest mandate in the history of independent India. Kejriwal had said – one should not be overconfident
AAP convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had issued a statement amid the trends of the results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Addressing the municipal corporation members of AAP, Kejriwal had said that ‘Let’s see what the results are in Haryana. The biggest lesson from this is that one should never be overconfident in elections. No election should be taken lightly. Every election and every seat is difficult.’ Rahul said – Haryana results are surprising, Shiv Sena said – Congress knows how to turn victory into defeat
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reacted to the results of Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections on Wednesday. He said in a post on X that the results of Haryana assembly elections are surprising. Rahul wrote, ‘We are analyzing the unexpected results of Haryana. Complaints are coming from many assembly constituencies. We will inform the Election Commission about this.
