Congress has complained about irregularities during the counting of votes in Haryana election results. In this case, a delegation of Congress leaders met the Election Commission officials in Delhi. They said that the EVMs used here were hacked. Due to which the results of 20 seats were tampered with. Giving the example of the counting center of Panipat, Congress said that 70% of the votes cast from the EVMs whose battery was 90% charged in the urban seat were in favor of BJP. Congress got a lead in the EVMs whose battery was 40-50% charged. The Election Commission should seal such EVMs and investigate them. In the counting of votes held on October 8, BJP won 48 seats, Congress won 37 seats. Apart from this, INLD won 2 and independents won 3. All the three independent MLAs supported BJP on Wednesday. State Congress President said – special EVM, whose battery was 99% charged
Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaybhan said that we received 20 complaints. Out of which 7 are written. He said that on the day of counting, there were some special EVMs whose battery was showing 99% charge. BJP got more votes from these. The battery cannot remain so charged after counting. This is the biggest reason for our doubt. He said that the battery of the rest of the normal EVMs was 60 to 70%. BJP was not winning in that. We have told the commission about this. We have said that the machines about which complaints have been made should be sealed till the investigation is completed. The commission has assured us of investigation. During this, Udaybhan also mentioned the statement of acting Chief Minister Naib Saini. Before the counting of votes, the CM had said in a press conference in Chandigarh that he has made all the arrangements. BJP will form a government with full majority. There will be no need to take support from anyone. Udaybhan said that this is a question of the credibility of the Election Commission. We demanded matching of VVPAT slips in many assembly constituencies but the returning officer rejected it. We want that the votes received in EVM and the slips of VVPAT should be matched so that truth can be revealed. Hooda said- Congress went down due to EVM, this creates doubt
Bhupendra Hooda, who was part of the delegation, said that the result of Haryana is surprising. Every person thought that Congress is going to form the government. All the experts were also saying the same. Congress takes the lead in the counting of postal ballots. When the counting of EVMs started, Congress went down. This creates doubt. Around 20 complaints have been received. Counting was delayed in many places. In many places, postal ballots were not counted first. Pawan Khera said- irregularities took place in 20 seats
The other leader in the delegation, Congress leader Pawan Khera, said that a meeting was held with the officials of the Election Commission. We gave data and documents of 7 assembly constituencies. Documents of 13 more assembly constituencies are going to be given. In all this, our candidates have complained about the battery yesterday and today as well. We have asked the Election Commission to investigate this and inform us. In this regard, the candidates have also given a written complaint to the Returning Officer at the counting center itself. Rahul Gandhi said – Election results are shocking
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi reacted to the results of Haryana Assembly elections on Wednesday. He released a post on X and said that the results of Haryana Assembly elections are surprising. Rahul wrote, ‘We are analyzing the unexpected results of Haryana.
