Movie Review- Vicky Vidya’s that video: Rajkumar- Tripti Dimri’s chemistry is good; first half is fine but the story goes astray in the second half

Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri starrer film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has been released in theatres today. Apart from Raj and Tripti, Vijay Raj, Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Rakesh Bedi, Tiku Talsania have important roles in this film. Directed by Raj Shandilya, this film has been produced by Balaji Telefilms, Wakao Films and Kathavachak Films. The length of this film is 2 hours 26 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5. What is the story of the film? The story of the film is set in Rishikesh in 1997. Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) works as a mehndi artist. He gets married to Doctor Vidya (Tripti Dimri). Both of them make a video of their Suhagrat. One day there is a theft in his house. Along with the goods, the CD of the Suhagrat video is also stolen. The inspector (Vijay Raj) starts investigating the case. Meanwhile, the inspector falls in love with Vicky’s sister Chanda (Mallika Sherawat). Vicky wants to get the wedding night CD at any cost. In this affair, he gets trapped in a murder case. How does Vicky prove himself innocent and get the CD and what turns and twists come during this. To know this, you will have to watch the film. How is the acting of the star cast? Rajkumar Rao has once again managed to win the hearts of the audience after ‘Stree 2’. His good chemistry with Tripti Dimri is seen in the film. The timing of the dialogue delivery of both is tremendous. Mallika has made a great comeback in the role of Chanda. Her pairing with Vijay Raj looks good. Tiku Talsania in the role of Vicky’s grandfather, Archana Puran Singh in the role of Vidya’s mother, Rakesh Bedi in the role of father and Mukesh Tiwari have tried to do complete justice to their respective roles. How is the direction of the film? The specialty of Raj Shandilya’s films is that he brings a beautiful story revolving around small cities and towns. He has written a similar story with Yusuf Ali Khan. The story of the film is from the 90s. He has taken full care of the environment and costumes of that time. The first half of the film is entertaining, in the second half the story of the film seems a bit astray. The ghost in red attire in the cemetery reminds of Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Stree’. Forcibly bringing ‘Stree’ in the film and giving it a horror touch seems beyond comprehension. How is the music of the film? Good music is expected from T series films. But there is no new song in this film, which will be remembered after watching the film. Songs of the 90s ‘Na Na Na Na Na Re’, ‘Tumhe Apna Banane’, ‘Zinda Rehne Ke Liye’ have been recreated. The background music of the film is average. Final verdict, should we watch it or not? This film not only entertains but also gives a special message. This film is worth watching once.
