Wealth of top-100 rich people crossed ?90 lakh crore for the first time: Wealth of big industrialists increased by 40% in a year, doubled compared to 2020

The wealth of the top-100 richest people of the country crossed Rs 90 lakh crore for the first time this year. In a year, their wealth increased by more than 40% to Rs 93.64 lakh crore. Their wealth more than doubled as compared to 2020. As compared to 2023, their total wealth increased by Rs 26.50 lakh crore. Interestingly, the rise in shares contributed more to the increase in the wealth of the 100 richest Indians this year than the increase in profits from their business. The Sensex has risen by about 30% in a year. According to Forbes’ report ‘India’s 100 Richest 2024’, more than 80% of the richest Indians in the top-100 became richer than before. His wealth increased by 2.3 lakh crores to more than Rs 10 lakh crores in one year. He has become the 13th richest person in the world. He stood second in increasing his wealth in 1 year.
