Dussehra celebrations across the country: Ravana Dahan took place in Delhi’s Red Fort, President Murmu-PM Modi applied tilak to Ram-Laxman

Dussehra is being celebrated across the country today. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Ramlila at Red Fort in Delhi. Both of them burnt Ravana by shooting symbolic arrows. Before this, the Prime Minister and the President applied tilak to the artists playing the roles of Ram-Lakshman and Hanuman. This Ramlila being held in Madhav Das Park of Red Fort is organized by Shri Dharmik Leela Committee. The committee members gave a trident to President Murmu and a mace to PM Modi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Darjeeling in West Bengal to celebrate the festival with the soldiers. The Defense Minister first worshipped the weapons in Sukna Cantt.
